Ashley M. Verkamp has been working as an artist since her earliest ambition at age five: a heroic undertaking to compile a hand drawn book of every dinosaur she knew—she finished with a grand total of five. Since then, she has continued her passion for creating and has found great sources of inspiration while roaming the fields, forests and streams that define the rolling hillsides of her rural Indiana home. It is precisely this, her love of nature and her commitment to the environment that influences Ashley most when envisioning designs for Snail’s Pace.
